Well I can't say in my opinion that all republicans are prejudice.President Abraham Lincoln who was a republican at that time did free the slaves in the south but traditionally southerners have dominated American politics to a greater extent than their proportional representation entitled them,because,although they were largely members of the Democratic party[because the South was poor], they could shift their weight to the party of no to pass conservative legislation or to block liberal legislation.The racist strategy of the republicans is basically for you to vote for them and they will make sure you get paid.This is happening today with the present government in which the republicans stance is to say that the government and President Obama is bad and that their main concern is to over-tax the public in order to waste money on destructive progressive legislation.And of course some people are falling for the banana in the tailpipe.A great tragedy is that the Dem's have not spoken up enough for themselves.From the top to the bottom of the Democratic party there is no effective spokesperson who can defend the party against the destructive moralism of the Republicans.Oh, I forgot Reverend Al Sharp ton and Keith Olbermann. Republicans have certain won this game of moralism. Hopefully Democrats will learn that it is impossible to out-moralize racists. instead they should abandon extreme moralism as a destuctive force in American life.
