This truly is a time to express to your Mother that she is appreciated because without her you wouldn't be here. In some countries this day began as a celebration not for individual mothers but to Christians. But we all must give thanks and praise to our mothers of the world. Sometimes we may forget that they themselves have gave up a lot for us to survive in this time and age. We must not forget those women who are single parents who got a lot on their plate to not only work full time or go to school, but has the responsibilities of taking care of the whole entire family when there is no father in the home.
